Franck Chevalier

Franck Chevalier is currently Co-Head of Technology Consulting at Analysys Mason and has 24 years’ experience in telecoms, spanning research, pre-sales and consulting. Franck successfully completed over 20 technical due diligence projects of wholesale and retail FTTP providers including carve-out processes of Orange Concession (valued at EUR2.6 billion), SFR FTTP (valued at EUR3.4 billion) and KPN’s Glaspoort. Franck was also lead technical advisor to the Irish Government during the strategy phase of the National Broadband Plan where he advised on topics ranging from Intervention area definition, FTTP network architecture, wholesale product specifications, FTTP active equipment trends and roadmap, network rollout and service performance regime and associated service level agreements. Before joining Analysys Mason, he was the design authority for a number of multi-million-pound optical networks in EMEA while working for Nortel Networks. Franck is also a Chartered Engineer and was a member of the Ofcom Advisory Committee for Scotland between 2008 and 2012. Finally, Franck has a Bachelor of Engineer and a PhD in Telecommunications from the University of Strathclyde (1996 and 2000 respectively).
