Two sets of FTTH Awards will be presented at the next edition of the FTTH Conference:

- FTTH Awards – nominations are open to all
- FTTH Innovation Awards – nominations are open to all exhibitors of the FTTH Conference 2025 that have signed up before 22nd November 2024

FTTH AWARDS 

The annual FTTH Awards recognise the outstanding support of companies and individuals that have actively contributed to the acceleration of FTTH in Europe during the last 12 months. The awards cover three categories: 

  • the Operator Award acknowledges an operator company that has significantly contributed to the development and roll-out of FTTH in Europe 

  • the Individual Award honours a single person for their unique efforts to make FTTH happen in Europe 

  • the Champion of Diversity Award recognises the unrelenting efforts made by a company to address the diversity issue within the fibre industry 

Winners will be announced on 27th March 2025, during the dedicated FTTH Awards ceremony at the end of the FTTH Conference 2025.

The FTTH Award nomination process is open to all. For the Individual and Champion of Diversity Award categories, there are no restrictions on nominations. Meet the winners of the 2024 edition of the traditional FTTH Awards:

  • Open Fiber is the winner of the FTTH Operator Award, for its exceptional contribution to the development and widespread implementation of FTTH
  • Mr. Ian Gordon Fudge, Owner of FiberDK is the winner of the FTTH Individual Award, for his remarkable efforts in championing the advancement of FTTH technology in Europe
  • Prysmian is the winner of the Champion of Diversity Award, for their unwavering commitment to addressing diversity issues within the fibre industry 

FTTH INNOVATION AWARDS

Following the success of their introduction during the last edition of the event in Berlin, the FTTH Conference 2025 will see a second set of awards awarded to the exhibiting sponsors of the event. The FTTH Innovation Awards complement our existing FTTH Awards and recognise the most significant and innovative FTTH products and solutions that are shaping Europe’s digital future. 

What are the product and service solution categories?

There will be six categories:  

  • Passive Infrastructure  

  • Active infrastructure - Central network  

  • Active infrastructure - Home network e.g. customer premise equipment and wi-fi  

  • Planning, workflow, mapping/GIS, AI software  

  • Installation Equipment, Tools, Test & Measurement Instruments  

  • And the newly introduced Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning and other software innovations 

The categories represent the broad range of vendor products and services, presenting the wide variety of solutions available in the FTTH ecosystem. 

Judging panels and selection process

The judging panel will be made up of experts from the world of FTTH, including: 

  • FTTH Council Europe Board Members 

  • Committee Chairs 

  • Conference and Workshop speakers for the FTTH Conference 2025 

Who can nominate?

The awards are free to enter and limited to FTTH Conference 2025 exhibitors that have signed up before 22nd November 2024.  

When are the winners going to be presented?

The shortlisted candidates will be identified by mean of a sticker applied to the company's products on their exhibition stands, while the final winners will be presented on stage in the main conference room during a dedicated ceremony session on Thursday 27th March 2025.
