Do I need a visa to go to London?

To check whether you need a visa to visit London and how to apply, please check the UK Visas and Immigration website or contact your local British Embassy before you travel:

Travel
Authorisation (ETA) 

All visitors to the UK who do not need a visa, except British and Irish citizens, are required to hold an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) to travel to London.

 

The process to request an ETA only takes 5 minutes and happens online. You will be charged a standard fee of  £16 per person at the moment of the request.

Visa Invitation Letters 

FTTH Council Europe can issue an invitation letter for the FTTH Conferenced 2026, provided you have first registered and paid for your 3-Day Conference Pass.  

To request an invitation letter, please complete the following visa details form. You will need your Registration Confirmation Number to be able to complete your submission, which can be found on the confirmation page after registering and in your confirmation email. 

Refund Policy: If your visa application is unsuccessful, we will refund your ticket in full, provided you can show proof that your visa application was denied.
