Following a degree in economics at Bocconi University in Milan, I worked for about ten years (1988-1998) for consultancies specialized in Telecoms (Reseau s.r.l. in Italy and Eutelis S.A. in France), performing market analysis to support strategic decisions.
From 1998 to 2004 I took part to the set-up of AGCom (the Italian NRA), where I was involved in the main proceedings which led to the opening of the market and I eventually acted as responsible of the enforcement of Telecom regulation.
From 2004 to 2017 I worked in the regulatory department of Telecom Italia, where I played different roles including the responsibility of Relationships with all the relevant national Authorities (NCA, NRA, Energy and Privacy).
In 2017 I joined Open Fiber S.p.A. as Head of Regulatory Affairs (and also European Affairs since 2022).
