Open FIber

Open Fiber was created to build a Fiber To The Home (FTTH) ultrabroadband network infrastructure in all regions of Italy. The goal is to ensure coverage of Italy's major cities and the connection of rural and industrial areas through an ultrabroadband fiber network, providing increasingly advanced services and features for citizens, businesses and PA.

Open Fiber is a wholesale operator, not selling fiber services directly to the end user, but making its infrastructure available to all interested operators on equal terms. With more than 14.5 million FTTH property units on the market, Open Fiber is the leading Italian FTTH fiber operator and among the leaders in Europe. The company's mission pursues the goals set by the Italian Ultra Broadband Strategy and the EU Digital Compass to establish minimum levels of connectivity in all European countries.

As an infrastructure player, Open Fiber is responsible for the construction, management and maintenance of the fiber optic network using FTTH technology, with very high levels of efficiency and reliability.
