Nikos Plevris participates in:
Nikos Plevris joined Vodafone in 1996 from AT&T and has since held key roles in Network Management. In 2004 he took over the Network Engineering Department in Greece, coordinating the development of 3G and 4G networks in the country. In 2014, he was appointed Director of the Transmission and Transport Department and representative of Vodafone Group's Network Strategy Engineering (NSE) in Greece, a global structure that manages voice and data traffic of millions of subscribers around the world. From this position, which he maintained alongside his duties, Nikos Plevris had a leading role in the convergence of Vodafone Group's fixed and mobile networks at an international level. As of 2002 he is leading on top Data Center infrastructure across European markets , focusing on the the transformation of Networks towards the cloud. He has been Vodafone Greece’s Chief Networks Officer since 2023, supervising – among other projects - the submarine cable construction program in the Aegean and Ionian Seas, which today offers high-speed connectivity and new possibilities to 10 Greek islands and about 1 million residents and visitors.
