With over 20 years of experience in executive roles in the Telco & Technology sector, Pedro has led high-performance, growth-driven projects with strong impact on society and consumers. In 2021, he founded ASTEO Red Neutra and has led its development since inception. Over the past five years, Asteo has grown significantly in rural Spain, evolving from a wholesale FTTH operator providing fiber access in underserved areas into a key player in long-distance transmission capacity. Today, the company delivers high-capacity backbone infrastructure, connecting rural areas with major national and international networks. Asteo is currently developing the Venus Spain–Portugal project, supported by the CEF Digital programme. Previously, Pedro held senior roles at HTC, Lebara, Nokia, MyTaxi and Adamo Telecom. He strongly believes in connectivity as a key enabler of equal opportunities between rural and urban areas.
