Jon is Senior Director of Solutions Marketing at Nokia covering a broad range of optical networking applications from optical edge/metro networks, such as 5G transport and wavelength overlay in PON, through to intelligent pluggable optics and data center networks. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has authored numerous articles. Jon has spent over 30 years working in the telecoms industry and joined Nokia through the acquisition of Infinera. Prior to Infinera Jon worked for Lucent Technologies, Sycamore Networks and Transmode in a variety of engineering, sales and marketing roles. Jon is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from the University of Manchester (UMIST).
