Wouter Stammeijer (1980) has acquired in-depth knowledge of the telecom & technology sectors thanks to more than 15 years of experience, initially in banking, and since 2010 in different positions at KPN. He has extensive experience in the field of transformation, strategy, M&A, and finance and investor relations. Wouter has been appointed a member of the Board of Management in the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from June 1, 2023.
Wouter holds a master’s degree in international business studies from Maastricht University and is a CFA charterholder. He started his career at ING Bank in structured acquisition finance and was based in Amsterdam and New York. He was responsible for executing a wide range of transactions for clients in the telecom, technology and media sectors. At KPN he has occupied a variety of positions such as Vice President Investor Relations, interim Chief Consumer Market, and Chief Strategy & Development Officer. In his most recent position he played an instrumental role in launching KPN’s Accelerate to Grow Strategy. 
As COO, Wouter is responsible for the high quality and reliability of KPN’s Fiber and 5G networks. business operations and IT. Together with his teams he is constantly working on the digital transformation of KPN by applying technology innovations and by further automation of processes and services.
