Stephan Rettenberger –   SVP marketing    Stephan is responsible for the external marketing and global positioning of Adtran’s portfolio of open networking solutions. He is charged with strengthening the company’s brand and market recognition across the globe and communicating with the media and analysts.   He regularly makes appearances at industry conferences and has more than 30 years of experience in the telecom industry and far-reaching expertise with fiber-optic transmission technologies. Before joining the company in September 2003, he worked for Marconi Ondata GmbH (now Ericsson), where he was responsible for introducing and positioning their next-generation optical networking solutions. He holds a master’s degree in physics from the Technical University, Munich, Germany.
