Frank Rechtern is Head of Treasury at Deutsche-GigaNetz, based in Hamburg. He is an expert in infrastructure project financing with more than 20 years of professional experience in treasury and banking. Throughout his career, he has worked from both a banking and a corporate perspective and is a valued discussion partner on topics related to FTTH. Since 2022, Frank has worked as Treasurer at Deutsche GigaNetz, a Hamburg based company driving Germany’s digital transformation through the nationwide rollout of fiber optic networks. Prior to this, he spent 11 years in risk management at HCOB, where he was responsible for developing rating modules and cash flow tools and structured numerous infrastructure projects across Europe. During this time, he built deep expertise in digital infrastructure and project finance. Frank began his career at Deloitte, where he advised international banks and companies on financial risk solutions between 2006 and 2010, developing a strong passion for credit and market risk assessment.
