Pranvera Kastrati PhD, has a vast experience in public policy coordination and implementation in Albania. She held senior positions during her 23 years of service in the Albanian Government and contributed to several reforms to improve business environment from 1996-2017. She played a central role in designing trade policy in Albania, including negotiations of numerous international trade agreements. In November 2017, she joined the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). Her initial focus was on coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of the Multiannual Action Plan for a Regional Economic Area (MAP REA), significantly contributing to its management and execution in areas under RCC's responsibility. From 2018 to 2022, she served as Senior Expert on Economic and Digital Connectivity and played an important role in designing, coordinating, and monitoring RCC's initiatives in digital integration with particular focus on intra-Western Balkans roaming and roaming between the EU and Western Balkans, Western Balkans Digital Summit, digital economy and interoperability framework, digital upskilling, etc. In 2022, she became the Coordinator of the Common Regional Market, where she led strategic priorities and critical deliverables under the CRM and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans. Since last year, Ms. Kastrati has been serving as the Head of the Programme Department at RCC. In this role, she oversees strategic connections with economic stakeholders and international partners aimed at fostering economic integration and connectivity of the Western Balkans. She plays a crucial role in coordinating and supervising activities connected with the implementation of the Common Regional Market, the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, the Digital Agenda for the Western Balkans, the Innovation Agenda for the Western Balkans, etc.
